Could you help me out?

I´ve collected a couple of hundred of sketches the last few years. Most of them from Sweden. I must admit that I´ve been thinking about collecting them somehow, maybe get the opportunity to publish. But there are a couple of major questions before I give it a real chance.
1. The text between the sketches. What would you like to read about? Should there be very little text or longer parts.
2. The sketches... will it be boring to have all i color? Is a mixture of black and white and color to prefer?
3. Are these type of sketches something you would be at all interested in picking up in a bookstore?

4. The text would be in english, the motifs from Sweden. Is that a crazy idea?
I would be sincerely grateful for some thought from you out there. And you can be brutally honest..... well not too brutal maybe but definitaley honest.
All the best and thanx

Hi Christina

These are my thought's on your questions:

I like a mix of black & white and colour. Some sketches as well as some photographs, look better in black and white, but not all. Black and white can make you feel the "mood" of the piece, where as colour can sometimes make yor eye focus on the colours rather than the line.
I like a little text to discribe what I am looking at. However, if I am looking at something to see how it was done or to explain something to me, I like a lot of words.

I love purchasing interesting books, I watch your blog, I was attracted to your drawings, I probably would purchase a book like that.

Hope this helps.
Kat

p.s. Keep up the great work!

I agree with Kat, definitely a mix of b&w / color. Ab ook like this would totally end up on my shelf or table.
I like the idea of text. especially if it describes what drew you to sketch the scene.

Let us know what you decide.

hi. i don't know if this is too late already, but here goes... I find it frustrating to view blogs that are not in English. However, I respect the language used by the blog owner if it's not in English. If you plan to influence people from any walk of life, I suggest you put the text in English although it's your illustrations that will still speak the life into people. i'd love to see works that are both in color and not in color. unless you plan to produce a book for each, separate them. i want to read text under each work in the word count of this comment of mine.
