More pictures from old scetchbooks. This however is a couple of quite ambitious watercolors made in Rome in september 2003. This one is from turistique but otherwise nice Piazza Navona. The most significant memory from Rome ( except from the grandness ) was the amount of Chinese and Japanese tourists gathering really close around the embarrassed artist while working.
Before I visited Rome I had the idea that the wellknown sightings as Pantheon was located with a lot of space around. Enough to give a good overview over the building. In fact that is not at all the case. In addition to that- hundreds of people stood in my way. My solution for the day became to give up Pantheon itself a draw the square in front of it instead.
